The Texas Education Agency’s IS division is seeking a senior technical programmer to lead our challenging core components group. This is a lead role and the qualified candidate will be responsible for the architecture for our calculation engine, new web services access that includes a re-usable data access layer, software coding and delivery, as well as mentoring a small team of developers. To qualify you must have the following experience: Proven technical leadership skills · Previous Architecture and design skills· Excellent development skills with C# and .Net · Web Services knowledge· SQL experience · Working experience with XML technologies· Experience with Data Access software preferred.
