Jordan is seeking a System test engineer

The System Test Engineer will be responsible for the verification and validation of security products. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for working in a software test environment, working knowledge and hands-on experience with various MS Windows operating systems preferably in a virtualization environment and debugging experience. Primary responsibility will be manual test execution on Access based security system, with opportunities for automated execution and development. Candidate must have experience working in a software development environment with structured process, solid logic and debugging skills, comfort reading and writing at least one high level programming language, and knowledge of installing operating systems and patches.

This is a year long contract with opportunities to go perm, the pay is $30-40/hr depending on experience, and it’s in NW Austin.
