Books for learning QA / Testing?
Until the last few years, there were only a handful of books on software testing. The two that I saw on most often on friends' shelves were:
The Art of Software Testing
by Glenford Myers (1979, revised 2004)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0471469122/
Testing Computer Software,
by Cem Kaner (1999)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0471358460/
Both of these books are old enough that they don't cover more recent methodologies, like unit-testing, test-driven development, agile, etc.
Although the books are still considered classics, I'm not sure that they are as useful as they once were.
What are the new classics of Software QA and testing? What's on your bookshelf?

QA Books for a Newbie
I am not a QA Pro, but was given the task of building a QA mission and team at my company.
This book was like Psalms in the sense of hard knocks lessons:

Very easy to read and timeless. It did not really cover methodology, but rather philosophy and team building.
We, as QA, were also tasked with usability. I bought copies of this book for all my folks so we would have a common vocab:

With these two books we went from limited QA effect to impressing our CEO and board in about 6 months with me (a non-QA guy) at the helm. Any of you dedicated to the profession will have much better results I am sure!
Happy Reading
