With the huge growth in Austin meetup groups, and the constant problem with simultaneous events, I thought it would be helpful to publish the list that I use. Before scheduling a GeekAustin event, I always check this list to make sure that there is the least conflict.
If you are planning a new meetup group, or considering changing the date of an existing group, hopefully you will find the list useful as well.
This is primarily a list of groups which meet on a regular date. There are a lot of groups which don't meet regularly, or don't meet at consistent times. These groups are included at the bottom.
This list is solely for tech meetups -- with an emphasis on Open Source. Do not ask me to include your Multi-level marketing group.
