Solar Winds seeks Lead Web Developer

Responsibilities:
• Lead the architecture and design of new features
• Work with the Product Managers to determine the viability of ideas for new product features
• Create design documents from requirements
• Provide technical oversight of the development team’s work
• Generate and own the development schedule
• Use industry standard development methods for source control, feature design, time estimation, and problem tracking

Required Skills:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience designing, and developing applications for web properties
• 4+ years of experience leading a development team
• Expert knowledge in HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX development
• Strong command of C# and the ASP.NET Framework
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with little definition and supervision, and within a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Demonstrated creativity and intelligent thinking

Desired Skills:
• Programming experience with TCP/IP and other web related protocols
• Networking knowledge and experience
• Experience with offshore development teams
