Seeking Drupal/PHP Developer (contract)
TEKsystems’ client is looking for a Drupal/PHP Developer to support a new project for an on-going client. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of online learning software and learning content utilizing Drupal 6. The two main job responsibilities will be 1) hooking Drupal into the LMS and 2) developing web based content. They will also be helping with in-house custom e-learning development projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy E-learning management systems using Drupal 6.
• Integrate Drupal with legacy PHP applications.
• Create technical requirements.
• Architect content creation and delivery systems.
• Assist clients in setting up technical environment.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other developers.
• Lead and assist in content construction and maintenance
Required Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of Drupal module and theme development, server configuration, and site implementation expertise with strong code-level understanding of various Drupal modules, especially Views, CCK
• Experience implementing Drupal authentication and custom Drupal permission modules
• Third-party API integration experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing multiple sites sharing common data using central data store
• Experience with complex and dynamic relationships that drive what content displays, with lots of content types on a single page
• Demonstrated website architecture knowledge
• 5+ years of recent experience writing scripts with PHP/MySQL
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery
• Knowledge of IIS/PHP configuration
Preferred Experience:
• Drupal content syndication, revision management. Deployment of content to multiple Drupal instances
• Experience deploying user-installable PHP/MySQL applications
Education Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
