NCsoft seeks Billing Software Developer

NCsoft West is the U.S. branch of NCsoft, the world’s largest independent developer and publisher of online computer games. We are currently seeking talented candidates for a Software Developer position in its North Austin office.

The billing Software Developer duties include the design, documenting, development, testing, and maintenance of code for the billing and account management systems. Work includes API design and implementation, integrating with multiple third party systems (transaction processors, game servers, etc) and maintenance of existing code. Our site supports multiple games, currencies and languages and is a key factor in the continued success of NCsoft West. The Software Developer will create new and modify existing applications; working from project requirements and helping to define SW specifications. The Software Developer is both independent and self-motivated.

Requirements
• 2 years minimum professional experience as a software developer, preferably with scalable production web applications
• Experience using Perl, PHP, Python or similar scripting languages
• HTML/XML experience
• Experienced in SQL programming; working with MS SQL or other commercial RDBMS
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrates a professional work ethic and good communication skills
• A track record of work-related achievements

Extras
• Experience with online billing application development
• Experience developing websites in Perl and DBI
• Experience working with Linux and Apache
• SOAP/Web Services experience
• Understanding of CSS & DHTML.
