We are looking for a senior QA engineer to help define and implement a quality assurance program around an existing open-source product. The ideal candidate would have a extensive experience with test plan development, virtualization technologies, web-application testing, unit-test development, Unix/Windows environments, script development (perl/ruby/python+bash), and team management. This role would be responsible for creating the QA infrastructure, building the initial QA test plan and processes, and help in building out the QA team. The product in question provides security testing and network penetration capabilities for security personnel (www.metasploit.com). The position requires relocation to Austin, the right to work in the United States without sponsorship, and would initially be a work-from-home position. Experience with the Ruby programming language and security technology is a plus.

• Implement Initiate's Master Data Management software for Fortune 500, government, and large health care clients
• Develop and document technical, architectural, and business requirements
• Install and configure the software
• Analyze customer data and develop appropriate software configurations to meet customer data and business requirements
